CORE STRATEGIC OBJECTIVES
Our core strategic objective is to preach the Gospel of Christ to enhance spiritual nourishment and re-empower poor communities through appropriate capacity building and other demand-driven interventions that are focused upon improving the quality of life. These are accomplished through the following objectives:

A. WE ARE CHRISTIAN
Under this strategy, D.L.C.M. upholds the partnership position that Christians acknowledge one God;Father, Son and Holy Spirit.D.L.C.M. proclaim that Jesus is Lord and desire him to be central in the individual and corporate life.The ministry will seek to follow Jesus in its work, from whom we desire our holistic understanding of the gospel of the kingdom of God, which forms the basis of its response to honest feedback about our work human need.D.L.C.M. endeavors to bear witness to the redemption offered only through faith in Jesus Christ.The ministry endeavors to maintain its identity as christian, while being sensitive to the diverse contexts in which the identity is expressed.
B. WE VALUE PEOPLE
D.L.C.M. regard all people as created and loved by God. Under this strategy ,D.L.C.M. will give priority to people before money, structure, systems and other institutional machinery.The ministry will endeavor to act in ways that respect the dignity, uniqueness and intrinsic worth of every person—the poor , our staff and their families, board members and volunteers. Under this strategy, D.L.C.M. will ensure that it employs a participative,open,enabling style in working relationship, while also encouraging the professional, personal and spiritual development of the people it works with.
C. WE ARE STEWARDS
D.L.C.M. appreciates that the resources at its disposal are not its own but rather a sacred trust from God.The ministry will therefore remain faithful to the purpose for which those resources are given and manage them in that manner that brings maximum benefit to the poor.D.L.C.M. will continue to speak and act honestly, while also endeavoring to convey a public image conforming to reality, as well as striving for consistency between what we say and what we do.
D. WE ARE PARTNERS
We accept the obligation of joint participation, shared goals and mutual accountability in pursuing our objectives. We are partners with the poor, the government and the donors in our project implementation.We maintain a cooperative stance and a spirit of oneness toward other development organizations and are willing to receive and consider honest feedback about our work.

Our core strategic objective is to preach the Gospel of Christ to enhance spiritual nourishment and re-empower poor communities through appropriate capacity building and other demand-driven interventions that are focused upon improving the quality of life. These are accomplished through the following objectives:
- To build community resources: funds and Assents that can increase the extend through which the community will effectiveness and efficiency take active participation and responsibility of their own development both spiritually and physically.
- To use the Church as a platform in fostering justice and peace building in the community.
- To build the requisite capacities of Church members and community groups in key areas of spiritual development, food production, economic development and education.
- To promote locally acceptable and applicable water, hygiene and sanitation initiatives.
- To sensitize local communities on effects of HIV and AIDS and how to mitigate the effects of the pandemic effectively.

- Preaching the gospel of Christ to reach the unreached in Kenya and even beyond.
- Facilitating support for disadvantaged children and families to enable them access health care through pro motive, preventive and curative health service delivery
- Promoting effective mitigation measures as far as the impact of HIV and AIDS on the communities is concened trough awareness creation, advocacy campaigns, counseling and testing. This includes nutritional support.
- Supporting quality education through improved access, retention and performance domains
- Enhancing economic empowerment for the youths and women through focused service based programmed
- Improving access to potable and clean water for communities by sinking boreholes and shallow wells in areas where water is a priority felt need
- Creation of awareness and undertaking advocacy on gender based violence against women and the girl child as well as advocacy on children`s right
- Enhancing environmental conservation, and extension services for sustainable natural resource management to a wide range of small holder farmers.
